The Town Council of Calonge i Sant Antoni has lifted the suspension of the current building permit in the Mas Pere development. This means that owners of plots who wish to build a house can now apply for a permit from the Town Council. The granting of the permit will be subject to a favourable technical report from the municipal services. In this regard, the application must at minimum meet the requirements of being up to date with the urbanisation fees that have already been settled, and a guarantee must be submitted for the provisional amount that the property must pay for the urbanisation works, deducting the amounts of the fees already paid.
The Town Council of Calonge i Sant Antoni approved the start of the contracting process for the urbanisation works in Mas Pere on 11 March. The project is currently in the tendering phase, and companies wishing to bid for this contract have until 14 April to submit their offer. The launch of the contracting process for the urbanisation works has allowed the Town Council to lift the suspension of licences for new construction.
An almost 11 million euro project
The contract for these works has a starting value of €10,982,264.91, VAT included, and is intended to resolve the current situation in Mas Pere. Once the period for submitting bids has ended and the contract has been awarded, the works can begin. The award process for this contract is expected to take approximately 6 months, so the Town Council is working towards starting the works before the end of this year. The project sets out works with a duration of 2.5 years and includes the creation of a sewer network, which will allow septic tanks to be eliminated, as well as telecommunications to be buried underground, public lighting, and the paving and construction of pavements, together with the improvement of green areas.
